On Sunday 18 May a local artist is coming to the Chambers to talk at the general meeting which will start at 4pm.
Debra Hood whose designs of the Chambers and Windsor War Memorial appear on the tea towel, key ring and cards, that we released late last year, is coming to speak to us about where her inspirations as an artist come from and how her art has evolved over the years. She will also speak about the collaboration with the Society for the designs for the new merchandise and her love of colour and Brisbane’s unique heritage. Debra is as vibrant as her artwork.
